Tattoo removal
The treatment is ambulatory and requires about 40 minutes for each session. Complete removal of a tattoo by laser requires several treatment sessions, usually spaced from one another by 4-5 weeks.
At each session, some, but not all, pigment particles are fragmented and dispersed by the body over the following weeks.
The result is that the tattoo fades over time and can gradually be eliminated.
